Released on April 7th 1978 For You was Prince’s debut album

Prince was only 19 years of age at the time

Every instrument on the album was credited as played by Prince as along with vocals, song writing, whole arrangements and production. 

On the US Billboard Top LP’s & Tapes chart the album reached number 163 ,and on the Billboard Soul LPs Chart it reached the heights of number 21

Two singles were released from the album Soft & Wet & Just As Long As Were Together
